Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) is an illness caused by a virus (more specifically, a coronavirus). MERS affects the respiratory system, many people infected with MERS develop severe acute respiratory illness with symptoms of fever, cough, and shortness of breath. As of June 2015, MERS-CoV cases have been reported in over 20 countries.

Understanding Cancer

Cancer is caused by abnormal cells that grow rapidly and spread to one or many parts the body. There are over 100 different types of cancer and it can affect any part of the body. It is one of the leading causes of death. However, we are slowly winning the war against cancer.
