Waiting for the news to break
Science Photo Library ready with catalogue of over 1,000 new images
Cannabis, cloning, communications - whatever the issue, the Science Photo Library's latest catalogue 15 has an impressive image to illustrate it.
The first to be published for over two years, the new catalogue brings together over 1,100 new images arranged in seven chapters - concepts, health, body, research, technology, earth and space. The catalogue is smaller and has a new design making it easier to browse through.
Maria Storey, marketing director of the Science Photo Library, says: "The catalogue is an opportunity for us to show off some of our most amazing images. We think it is an un-put-downable feast and hope it will be an invaluable resource and an inspirational tool."
The catalogue images, together with the entire Science Photo Library collection of over 100,000 images, are available to search online at www.sciencephoto.com. Images can be downloaded as high-resolution digital files directly from the site, or ordered as transparencies.
The Science Photo Library is the world's leading provider of science imagery. Independent, privately owned and the only one of its kind in Britain, SPL is renowned for its high quality picture bank, created by photographers, illustrators, scientists and medical specialists.
