Caption: Polio Hall of Fame opening ceremony, Warm Springs, Georgia, USA, 2 January 1958. This row of bronze busts commemorates polio researchers and campaigners. It is located at the institute where Franklin D. Roosevelt was treated for what was thought at the time to have been polio.
