This pattern resembling coral or seaweed, was produced from chaos theory. It is a computer generated image that shows apparently random construction using mathematical operations or mappings. Research has discovered, however, that many aggregations appear to be ruled out by chaos theory (related to fractal geometry). Fractals are used to create models for real-world phenomena such as stock market prices, plant growth, erosion of coast- lines and fluid interactions.
