ELBOW, DRAWING Exploded view of the elbow articulation. The bone of the arm, the humerus, articulates at the level of the elbow with two bones of the forearm, the radius and the cubitus (or ulna). The humeral head encompassed two lumps, the capitulum and the trochlea. The cubital head includes a bulged extremity, olecranon, voluminous region of the elbow. Certain ligaments are represented in green : annular ligament of the radius (sectionned, laterally) and quadrate ligament (sectionned, beneath), that maintain together the heads of the radius and cubitus.
