Caption: Wireless antenna electronics. Circuit board used in wireless antenna equipment, connected to a testing circuit (background). This equipment is being tested in the SMART (Small Antenna Radiated Testing) chamber at the National Physical Laboratory, Teddington, UK. This chamber is used for minimally-invasive measurements of electrically-small antennas that operate at frequencies above 400 MHz. This includes those used in familiar applications such as domestic wireless computer (WLAN or wi-fi) networks.
