Caption: Wireless antenna electronics test. Wireless antenna electronics (centre) connected to an optical electric field sensor (OEFS) controller. This test is being carried out in the SMART (Small Antenna Radiated Testing) chamber at the National Physical Laboratory, Teddington, UK. This chamber is used for minimally-invasive measurements of electrically-small antennas that operate at frequencies above 400 MHz. This includes those used in familiar applications such as domestic wireless computer (WLAN or wi-fi) networks.
Release details: Model release not available. Property release not required.
