Caption: Cuttlefish hatching. Cuttlefish (order Sepiida, upper left) emerging from its egg sac (lower right). Cuttlefish lay their eggs in bunches hidden in small holes in coral or rock and the embryos develop within the egg over several weeks. Juveniles hatch already capable of changing colour and are active predators. Photographed off the coast off Ambon, Indonesia.
