Caption: Austral thrush (Turdus falcklandii), also known as the Falklands thrush. This bird is similar to the European blackbird, and like the blackbird feeds on insects. This bird consists of two subspecies, one of which is endemic to the Falkland Islands, and one found in southern Argentina and southern Chile. Photographed on the Falkland Islands.
