Caption: Common dolphin (Delphinus delphis) pod travelling at speed at the surface. This dolphin is found throughout the world in temperate and warm seas. It usually lives in groups (or pods) of up to 100 individuals, but much larger groups are known to exist. They feed almost exclusively on fish. Common dolphins may live for over 30 years. Photographed in the Gulf of California, Mexico.
