Caption: Flamsteed's star catalogue. Page of observations of star positions from the catalogue by the English astronomer John Flamsteed (1646-1719). This work was partially published in 1712 without Flamsteed's permission. The complete catalogue was published posthumously in 1725 as part of a work titled 'Historia Coelestis Britannica'. The positions of 2935 stars were described. These observations are from 0 to 20 degrees, with the stars identified by constellation.
