Caption: Wound care, Tanzania. Nurse at the Meserani Free Clinic dressing a wound on a patient's foot. The original injury had been left untreated and became infected, leading to amputation of a toe. This clinic is run by the owners of the Meserani Snake Park near Arusha, Tanzania, and offers free health care and emergency treatment to the local Masai. There are plans for this clinic to become integrated with the LivLife Centre in Meserani, Tanzania, a centre that was set up to give the local Masai access to free services, education and information.
