Caption: Grey mould (Botrytis cinerea) on raspberries (Rubus idaeus). Grey mould is a fungal disease, which is also known as 'Botrytis bunch rot'. It can be caused by excessive moisture. To prevent this from occuring, the strawberry plants are planted using straw to elevate them above the soil.
