Caption: Soviet Mikrosha computer. Exhibition display from the 1980s of a 'Mikrosha' computer that was used in Soviet industry. The 8-bit 'Mikrosha' was produced commercially as a personal computer from 1987. Here, it has been configured to adjust tooling equipment. The first Soviet electronic computers were developed in the 1950s. This display is part of an engineering industry pavilion at the Soviet national exhibition centre (All-Union Exhibition of People's Economic Achievements, VDNKh). This is now known as the All-Russia Exhibition Centre, and is located in Moscow, Russia. Photographed in 1987.
