Caption: Soviet industrial computer. Exhibition visitors examining and using a Soviet computer that has been configured for use in industry in the 1980s. This computer has a numerical control program for operating a lathe. This system was used at the Krasny Proletary factory, Moscow. This display is part of an engineering industry pavilion at the Soviet national exhibition centre (All-Union Exhibition of People's Economic Achievements, VDNKh). This is now known as the All-Russia Exhibition Centre, and is located in Moscow, Russia. Photographed in 1987.
