Caption: Sandstorm in Qatar, International Space Station (ISS) image. Sweeping towards Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, this sandstorm was a result of a major low pressure system over south-western Asia. It has a marked boundary in the centre of the image, with turbulent sand to the left and clear desert to the right. North is to the left of the image. Taken on February 15th 2004.
