Caption: Hurricane seen from space. View of the clouds around Hurricane Bonnie, seen from Shuttle Mission STS-47 of 12-20 September 1992. This image, taken on 19 September, shows a well-developed 'eye' at the centre of the cloud mass. Large convective storm clouds are seen on the periphery of the cell, especially in the lower half of the frame. At this point Hurricane Bonnie was about 800 kilometres from Bermuda.
