Caption: Tropical seaweed (Caulerpa sp.). The genus Caulerpa contains over 70 species, which are differentiated by leaf structure. All are hardy and fast-growing, putting out runners that are held in place by root-like structures. Caulerpa grows in tropical and subtropical climates in waters up to 15 metres deep.
