Caption: Arizona forest fires. Satellite image of clouds of smoke caused by forest fires in Arizona, USA. North is at top. Two separate fires are seen, the smaller Chediski fire is at left and the Rodeo fire is at right. The day following this picture, the fires merged to create a single blaze that covered 1200 square kilometres. Photographed on 21 June 2002 by the Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus sensor (ETM+), aboard NASA's Landsat 7 satellite.
