Caption: Arctic temperatures. Computer model showing the average surface temperatures in the Arctic region during summer for the years 1982 to 2002. Areas that have shown an increase in temperature over this time range from yellow to red (warmest) and areas that have shown a decrease in temperature range from white to blue (coolest). Most of the Arctic region was warmer than normal during this period. For the average yearly change see E205/203. For the other seasonal changes see E205/204 to E205/206.
