Caption: Preserved husky carcass. This husky was used by the British explorer Robert F. Scott (1868-1912) for his 1910- 1912 South Pole expedition. Its carcass has been preserved by the cold temperatures. Photographed in Antarctica in the 2005/2006 summer season.
