Crumpled glacier ice. Glaciers are immense rivers of ice, flowing downhill under their own weight. The immense pressures formed by a glacier cause its ice to crumple and buckle, forming the peaks and crevasses seen here. This is the Perito Moreno Glacier in Patagonia, Argentina.
