Caption: Coastline. The formerly-horizontal bands of limestone (white) have been folded into arches, or anticlines, by movements of the Earth's crust. Limestone is a sedimentary rock. There is a small cave beneath the pointed anticline at lower right. This is Cemaes Head near Cardigan in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Wales.
