Clinochlore (magnesium iron aluminium silicate hydroxide). This is one of the most common of the chlorite group of minerals. It forms when iron and magnesium silicate minerals undergo metamorphic or hydrothermal alterations. This specimen is from Irkutsk region, Siberia, Russia.
