Caption: Crystals of native sulphur. The element sulphur is found in crystal deposits which are yellow when pure. They usually occur near hot springs and volcanic regions. These crystals are rhombic in shape, though sulphur can also form monoclinic or needle-like crystals. This sample measures 320 millimetres across.
