Reconstructed fossil skull and skeletal remains of an adult male excavated from the Skhul cave site on Mount Carmel, Israel, by the Anglo-American expeditions. The expeditions were led by D.A.E. Garrod between 1929 and 1934. The Skhul remains date from 30,000-60,000 years ago and are essentially modern in their anatomy.
