Caption: Fossil trilobites, Agnostus sp, an extinct group of marine athropods that flourished during the Cambrian period (570 to 510 m. y. )and disappeared from the fossil record in the Permian period (280 to 225 m. y. ). They were distributed through all the seas, living on the sea bottom or burrowing into the sediment. Adult trilobites (there were three larval stages) varied in size from 6mm. to 75cm. This genus was small. Mag:X3 (35mm).
