Pentaceratops dinosaurs fighting, computer artwork. This beaked herbivore lived in North America and Asia during the late Cretaceous period, 76-73 million years ago. It had one horn above its beak, two above its eyes and two horn- like cheekbones that protruded from its face. Its large frills were most probably used for display purposes. It was slow-moving and possibly lived in herds.
