Caption: Troodon dinosaur. Computer artwork of a Troodon formosus, a small but deadly dinosaur that existed during the late Cretaceous, around 100 to 65 million years ago. It was a carnivore that probably hunted smaller herbivores in packs, and scavenged from the kills of larger dinosaurs. It had opposable fingers that enabled it to grasp its prey, something few other dinosaurs could do.
