Caption: African cave painting. Reproduction of an African painting depicting an abduction. The figure at centre is being abducted. A masked male figure is seen on the right, unmasked figures at left. This painting was found in Kolo cave, central Tanzania. "Kolo-type figures" are known for their stylized appearance, often with bushy head-dresses or hair- styles not evident here. The painting may date 25,000 years BP. This reproduction is in the Nairobi National Museum.
