Teton mountain range. The snow covered Teton mountain range takes it name from the French for teat. The range is part of the Rocky Mountains. It's highest peak (Grand Teton, upper centre) is 4200 metres high. The range extends for 64 kilometres and is situated in the Grand Teton National Park, which covers 1250 square kilometres.
