Caption: Meteorite crater. Aerial view of the Upheaval Dome meteorite crater, located in the Canyonlands National Park, Utah, USA. The dome is thought to have been created by the impact of a comet or asteroid several hundred metres in diameter, which smashed into this area 60 million years ago. The crater is around 1500 metres in diameter and 500 metres deep.
