Caption: Angora goat kid (Capra hircus). Angoras originate from the Himalayas but do well in most habitats. Kids are usually born in pairs, but there are sometimes as many as four offspring. They reach sexual maturity in between 4 and 18 months. The goats are mainly bred for their wool (mohair), which is used in the production of garments. They are gregarious, colonial and good jumpers.
