Caption: Maize harvest. Workers pouring grains of maize, Zea mays, onto a large pile of the seeds. Maize is a good source of carbohydrate, dietary fibre, oils, vitamin A and potassium. It can be eaten as whole grains or be used to make flour. Its oils can be extracted for human consumption as part of products such as margarine.
