Caption: Rape flowers. Flowers of a rape plant (Brassica napus) in a rape field. A bee is seen on a flower at upper right. Rape, also known as colza or canola, has bright yellow flowers and produces an oil-rich seed. Rape seed oil is used for cooking, lubrication, as a fuel and in the manufacture of soap. The stems and leaves of the plant make an animal fodder.
