Caption: Glasgow. Coloured SPOT-1 satellite image of Glasgow and Largs, Scotland. North is towards the top. Vegetation appears red, water black, hills brown, roads and buildings pale green, and clouds white. The River Clyde flows through the city into the Firth of Clyde (left), which joins the Atlantic Ocean. The two islands in the lower left are Great (top) and Little Cumbrae. The town of Largs is opposite the northern tip of Great Cumbrae. In the top left is Loch Lomond, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The town just left of lower centre is Ardrossan.
