Caption: Baghdad airfield. Satellite image of the Al Taji airfield in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, during the spring 2003 invasion. The main runway is down left. It has been blocked with parked vehicles to prevent unauthorised landings. Craters and debris caused by the aerial bombardment can be seen around the airfield.
