Caption: Bluebells. View of flowering bluebells or wild hyacinths Endymion non-scriptus in the spring. Bluebells, a member of the lily family, are common to undisturbed open woodland, scrubs and hedges. These perennial plants flower from April to June. Their bell-shaped flowers are azure blue or occasionally white. Ferns can be seen at centre left.
