Rats exposed to gamma radiation. Rats being exposed to low-level gamma radiation. This is part of an experiment to study the effects of electromagnetic radiation on living animals. After the rats have been exposed, they will live their natural life span (up to 3 years) and then an autopsy will look for tumours and other diseases.
