Caption: Tagging a turtle. Hand of a researcher putting a tag on the flipper of a green turtle (Chelonia mydas). This is part of research into migration patterns. Green turtles are found in warm seas throughout the world. They feed on aquatic plants and live near the coast. They can grow up to 1.5 metres in length and weigh up to 200 kilograms. Photographed on New Caledonia, South Pacific.
