Live specimen collection. Yellow-lipped sea krait (Laticauda colubrina) specimen being held by a ranger. This specimen was collected for anti-venin research. Venin is a toxic substance found in the venom of poisonous snakes. This sea snake is very venomous and it grows up to 142 centimetres in length.
