Caption: Emile Aubrun (1881-1967), French aviator, in an aeroplane. Here, Aubrun is in his Bleriot monoplane, the model with which he took second place in a French cross-country aviation race on 18 August 1910. The race, over 485 miles, was won by LeBlanc, who was using the same model of plane, in a time of just under 12 hours. Photograph from the Bain News Service.
