Caption: Adolphe Boucard (1839-1905), French ornithologist. Boucard collected birds in Mexico and Central America, specialising in hummingbirds. From 1891- 5, he published the periodical The Hummingbird. His later life was spent in England, where he died. Photographed between 1890 and 1905.
