Caption: Aage Niels Bohr (1922-2009), Danish physicist. Aage Bohr, as the son of the famous physicist Niels Bohr, grew up in the company of renowned theoretical physicists such as Heisenberg and Pauli. Aage Bohr studied at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and followed his father into research in theoretical nuclear physics. He worked at the Niels Bohr Institute of Theoretical Physics, Copenhagen, from 1946, serving as director of the Institute (following his father's death) from 1963 to 1970.
