Caption: Named after the one-eyed giant in Greek mythology due to its single obvious eyespot, Cyclops is actually a micro- crustacean belonging to the copepod group. They can reach 2-3 mm in length and possess long drooping antennae. This one is snatching at Paramecium, one of its favorite foods. Recorded under Rheinberg illumination.
