Caption: Turnip yellow mosaic viruses. Coloured transmission electron micrograph (TEM) of turnip yellow mosaic viruses (TYMV). This virus infects crucifer plants such as turnip, swede and cauliflower. It is transmitted by beetles or by contaminated tools. TYMV contains RNA (ribonucleic acid) genetic material, and belongs to the tymovirus group. Magnification unknown.
