Caption: MODEL RELEASED. Asthma inhaler being used by a young girl. The device is delivering a steroid drug into her mouth, where it is inhaled into her lungs to reduce inflammation and relieve minor wheezing and lessen the chance of a serious asthma attack. This is a Seretide inhaler, which combines both preventative and reliever aspects of an inhaler. More serious asthma attacks still require a separate inhaler. Seretide is manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline, and is available in three strengths: Seretide 100, Seretide 250, and Seretide 500. This is Seretide 100.
