Caption: Paget's disease. Cancerous nipples of a female patient with Paget's disease. This is a rare form of breast cancer (ductal carcinoma) in which the milk ducts of the nipple become cancerous. It causes flaking skin, itching and burning pain in the affected nipple, which may be mistaken for eczema. This cancer commonly spreads to the rest of the breast. If the cancer is diagnosed early, surgical removal may provide a cure. Photographed in Africa.
