Caption: MODEL RELEASED. Cancer research. Female researcher removing neuroblastoma cancer cells from cryostorage. Numerous cancer cell lines are kept in suspended animation in this store. The neuroblastoma cells will have their DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) sequenced to look for the MYCN gene. Multiple copies of this gene are commonly found in neuroblastomas, and also often indicate the presence of a highly malignant form of the cancer. Photographed in the Cancer Research Unit at Newcastle University, England.
