Caption: Seborrhoeic dermatitis, a form of endogenous eczema, appearing as the brown pigmentation near the hairline on a young woman's neck. Endogenous eczema occurs without any obvious external cause, and is classified according to its appearance & site. Seborrhoeic dermatitis appears on those regions of the skin where the concentration of sebaceous glands (which secrete the oily substance sebum) is greatest, as on the face, scalp and hairline.
